In early January 2025, train SE61/62 running on the Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City route will launch VIP cars, known as the most luxurious cars at the moment.
Previously, the Sjourney Luxury train departed from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi with a 7-day and night journey, with a fare of 7,320 USD (about 180 million VND).
Sjourney Luxury is a cooperation project between PYS Travel company, Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, Gia Lam Railway Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Railway Corporation, aiming to enhance Vietnam’s railway tourism and promote the country’s image to the world .
The luxury train Sjourney is designed in a classic Indochina style, combined with modern amenities to optimize the experience. In December 2024, the fare per passenger is 7,320 USD (about 180 million VND) and from 2025, fare will increase to 8,610 USD (about 220 million VND). The fare includes all meals throughout the journey. Fares are only sold to passengers who go on a tour basis.
The interiors of the train cabins are made of high-quality wood, Private Vietnam tour, with comfortable beds and warm lighting, providing maximum comfort for passengers.
Train SE61 departs every Wednesday evening from Hanoi, stops at famous destinations such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet and ends at Saigon station on the following Wednesday morning. Train SE62 departs from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on the same evening.
On board, passengers will enjoy fine dining, a fusion of local and international cuisine, prepared by a team of 5-star hotel chefs.
